Just a little suggestion, I'm assuming youse guys won't take it but, the 6th Ranger Battalion was involved in a massive POW rescue in Bataan. Now I know that this is a ETO game, but I thought it would be a neat-o suggestion, gosh darnit. I mean... fudge, that would be great. Anyway, as a secret mission that would be cool. Though since you probably won't do it... I'm sorry for suggesting it. I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.

Pacific Theater would be outstanding. It's mosty overlooked and is like a Side stage to the ETO.

Good Idea, Kraut Killer

Gut Gemacht!

I totaly agree, I would love to see some pacific theatre stuff, cant figure how it would fit in this game -BUT- hey 2015, maybe ya'll should look into doin' a mod for pacific theatre latter. I feel it is greatly overlooked and under-represented in the game community.

Bürgen, It's not only the Gaming groups, It's like the Movie industry, Historical Groups, Re-enactors, and The History Channel. It's disgusting.

yeah, and sadly, re-enactors too, I wouldn't mind beetin' back tojo, but then again who'd want to be in the imperial jaapanese unit (kinda like our rusky unit)?

I posted this idea in correspondence with the fact that in this game you take on the missions that the U.S. Army Rangers took. And I thought it would be cool to have the O.S.S. send you to the Pacific to help the 6th with their Rescue Operation.

Id like it if they would ditch the OSS altogether. For large scale operations, the OSS shouldnt be involved in those. and, maybe why pacific shootemups arent very prevalent is that japanese, who are leaders in video game making might take offense, and theyd call it racist, but im probably wrong.

We were considering Pacific Theater at one point for a mission, but decided to stick to European theater for this game.

this game is going to sell gangbusters! besides, we need a pacific FPS to go along with MOH: Fighter Command, a flying game.

I dont think the japanese would take offense to it because they could shoot us to, maybe...... but also I think it would be harder to re-enact the pacific theater because you would have to go back to the jungles where people actually fought you can't do it in a forest of pine trees or anything
