im not all that sure about them but i know newegg has had some for pretty damn cheap lately... like 70 bucks. name brands, like sony , etc.

my sony craped out on me, dont get a sony. plus it would burn maybe 60% of the time.

i bought a BENQ dvd writer, and the thing is awsome, plus it burns at 16X and came in black (matched my pc) and it was cheap
