Default Getting Mods to work... - 08-12-2002, 12:35 PM

I am having trouble getting the mods I have to work. I unzipped the .pk3 files to the main directory and I am not seeing the skins or hearing the altered sounds...any help?

In single player - you wont see and skins

In multi player, you wont see any of the skins unless the server admin has
put them on the server - most dont

and if you choose a skin for yourself - you cant see it!

The sound mods should work, unless the person
who created the mod did not include them for singleplayer mode

most mods are designed for multiplayer.

99.9% of the discussions here pertain to multi player

single player is just plain lame
