When they first meet the people from the future and they say" Be excellent to each other and party on dudes" ?

cause they walk out and said dont know but they sure play excellent music..

it sounds like u2 but i cant find it...
any clue?

Wasn't that Wyld Stallyns...? Because in the future everyone loved Bill and Ted's music and it harmonized the world and stuff. I didn't think it was an actual band.

Maybe it's on the soundtrack to the movie..

im not sure man.. cause when they start moving their hands like a guitar to everyone the music gets louder and the music starts singing "In time......something"
