they are both software programs you have to pay for

take a look on the net though...you know what i mean

also, whats the limit on avatar size?

actually if u dont have any of these SPECIAL and EXPENSIVE programs you can use paint biggrin: just copy an avater and make sure that the new one u make is the same size, guesstimate if u want. worked for me ed:

Making avatars isn't too hard. Just keep the image under 50x50 and 5K.

I made mine in about 5 minutes.

There are tons of freeware or shareware graphics programs out there that are good. Try looking on download.com or some site like that. I use Ulead Photoimpact, but that only has a 30 day trial period.
