Default Mother Nature Rules - 04-13-2005, 04:07 PM

Let's go to Fish Creek Park!

This is my new bike. Got it yesterday. It's a 2005 Trek 4500. Its a good bike for cross country trail riding, and its a hardtail.

This is a cliff that I didn't want to ride down because I didn't want to die.

In this pic it's kind of hard to tell how steep it was, but trust me, it's steep.

This is the 37th street bridge. On the map its the vertical black line on the far left. I didn't realize that I had actually gone that far.

So if its nice out, get out there. And if its not, get out there anyway. Some of the trails were a mess with mud, but that makes it more fun. It was a beautiful 10 degrees Celcius out.

I have no idea what kind of fish are in the creek. I doubt anything big. The Creek is only maybe 1.5-2 feet deep in the deepest places.

Best part is that it's in the middle of the City. Takes me about 20 minutes to ride there from my house. And its not just some dinky park. You can get lost in there pretty fast. Its huge. Lots of trails.

you'd be surprised at how big the fish can be in that shallow water.
