No firing sound or scope. Only the first person model and animations are in. I'm not sure if it even has a third person model or not.

No. The unlocked sniper is the M95, that's the M82. You can't use it in a normal game since it isn't finished.

Possibly. It's more complete than the FG42 was, though. I'm trying to see what will work server side so if I do finish it I can possibly do so without having the client need to download a 44 meg file.

Do you remember in Desert Combat they placed that gun around the map for people to pickup and use? Maybe thats what it was intended for.

Possibly, or maybe it was the start of a more thorough unlock system. It's very easy to make each side have a different unlock for each kit, however the problem is in the lack of additional weapons. I made a server side mod last night that changed the kits and unlocks around but unfotunately it seemed to crash poor CoolFool's PC.

Yeah that was the barett rifle.

Has anyone figured out this bf recorder shit yet? I can record my own demos and stuff but as for getting them from servers either no server has been setup right for it or the function is broken, i can't seem to get the files to dload, occasionally a demo link will appear in the community setting and fail to download. Don't really understand it because im filtering the servers to those that have it enabled. oOo:

Gerv its the servers fault. You have find a reliable server for the game. EA have the ebst servers set up for BF recorder. I can download everytime when I use theres

The game is great but any server I play in that is 32 and above is teleport lagging like a mofo.

Another unused piece of equipment are some binocular looking things that can "mark a target for laser targeting by aircraft" but they didn't seem to work entirely. Mr annoying announcer man even had speech files about it.
