I usually play on the Mohaa east servers and people are like ya i just made a bright orange skin and people give thier addys and this guys emails it too them. We have 2 such skins on this site. The target skin white dude with targets on him. And the ch33taz skin which already has 1000 dls (orange and yellow guy). I think we should remove these skins from our mod section so people will stop using them.

Just so all you guys know , I have no skins added to my game other than the stock ones and I do use force models so I don't get confused with all the different looking peeps running around . Maybe this is why I don't play so well. biggrin:

i use force models.... axis elite sentry and allies light-green-puffy-guy. i play only OBJ maps and these are the hardest for snipers to spot on Omaha.

i also average around 20 FPS so it allows me to lookout for one enemy skin rather that a whole range when my gfx wont allow me to see difference between allies ranger and axis green-guy.

but yeah i think the fluro skins should be removed from the site.... i could even justify that the "invisible skins" have some artistic/fashion merit but the fluro ones are pure lamer-bait. anyways its an admin decision.

i dont care what colour ia am to all you piles of meat... my BAR still sending lead at ya same rate either way.

I use to download the bright skins because I thought I would be able to tell who was wearing bright skins untill I realized the server had to have the bright skins so I delted them all. Anyway I don't use force models because it is easier to tell who each person is.

Yo german amry wasn't all nazi's. The nazi's were 98% of the german parliment so they had complete control. A lot of men were forced into the german army just like in the US. What can i say i perfer the mp 40 to the thompson the stg to the bar the mauser to the m1 the kr98 sniper the springfield. However colt ownzs the p38 and the rockets better than the panzer. Better color anyway

You prefer the mauser to the m1? It IS more of a challenge, however. I much prefer the Garand, tho.

Anyhoo, bright models give us "Force Modellers" a bad name. I use Force Models to increase my FPS, but I'll be damned if I'm going to use some stupid bright skin. That's idiotic. mwah:

I think I prefer the mauser as well. I have been giving it a try lately. I like the mp40 better too, although both the M1 and the thompson are tight.

Its easy to figer out who has them...if a person finds you when you are hiddin in a huge patch of bushes & they spot you from the other side of the map you know they are useing them.

skins are fun to play with, but not during games, I really want a purple barney skin, but for right now, killing britney spears/george bush will have to suffice, hehe

sgt. scro, um, would say that, if I have my binoculurs and we are playing operation market garden, its about the shadows and careful looking, i can find you, oh yes, hehe

I'm afraid forcing models is a part of the game that is not going to go away, much like double binding keys. Pesonally I like the force models thing because it cuts way down on camping and I like a faster game. Bright skins are up to the user and you cannot tell if someone is using them, so its probably best to not worry about it. My only real prefernce is that I like to have the team I am playing on all in black. Devil ranger for allies and darth maul for axis.

I agree. I use my binocs a lot - esp on Market Garden. I've also upped my resolution. When you know the maps you can easily pick out where someone is hiding. Often times I'll get a kill not because I saw someone hiding somewhere but I know that peeps like to hide there. But I can also pick out slight movement and just shoot towards it.

If FF was on, you'd be killed much less in what you thought was a good hiding spot because people wouldn't just toss nades or a few rounds in an area that they suspect people to be hiding.

Ok, so I have a question...

I have some cool skinz I like a lot, some of which are kinda camoey, and I'd like to make sure other players on the servers I'm on see them. To do that, I have to make sure the server has the skin uploaded right?? Is there a way to check what skinz the server has uploaded? Is there an easy way to directly upload a skin to a server?

Also, I'm a little confused as to what forcing models means. I thought that when you checked "force models", that meant that all the axis and all the allies would appear to have the same skin on, but ONLY on your computer...is that correct??
