Default DOG MAP HELP - 08-25-2002, 11:51 AM

the question is about the DOG MAP.the converted single player map to multi player map found on this site.the question is this.is it possible to turn it into a server side map that would require no download for the other players.it seems to me that since the game is already a part of cd then why does it require a download to play.i put into my rotation just as an experiment and saw the players trying to join but they could not.was this map changed in some fashion to make it a download map.could it be a server side map.any help with matter would be greatly appreciated.BUTCHER

Yes the map is in the SP game. It is m4l0. The reason why other players can not access in the MP mode is that they must place the .bsp and .scr files in either the main/maps/dm folder or the main/maps/obj folder. That's all I did to get it to work in MP. This same process can be used on any Map that came with the game.
