 I preferred Photoshop 4 to 5.5
you can't record batch convert commands, only the ones that they specify which are no good for me (they can convert rgb to grayscale, but \i need to resize and that sort of thing a lot of images).

But if you've never used it you won't notice the difference anyway.

To most users PSP would be just as good for them, I've never used PSP for any amount of time though. Photoshop is the industry standard editing tool - but it's not the best.

I just copied and pasted that font off the FMJ poster, then used eyecandy to change the color...as for adding in pictures to make it look like yours....well i can't... |

It's ALL about the "Eraser" tool and the Layer Opacity in Photoshop when it comes to adding photos. Those two things make the blends between photos.
PSP is kind of like "poor man's Photoshop". If you have the Eye Candy plugin, you can do wonderful things with PSP.

Its all about PSP......I love it...I've been using it since 3.11....Now I have PSP 7! Good easy to use program....Quite frankly, I can't see the big deal with photoshop...Its pretty much the same thing, unless of course you are doing Ultima technical stuff. Then its ubergood. But only if you know how to use it....PSP Is way easier to learn. |

I still have PSP 5.01 installed on my computer...it's a great app, don't get me wrong.
Since I've started using Photoshop, though, I can see the shortcomings of PSP. I dunno what version 7 is like...I'm sure it's awesome, but I can't see it being better than Photoshop.

For simple graphics creation and editing, PSP will do fine. For more complex stuff, you gotta go with Photoshop.
