It all has to do with the way they wrap the graphite and the type of guides they use. Also, depends on if it's one piece or two. Most two pieces, under 7 foot, are hunks of crap.
That pole is the reel n rod combo which is pretty nice. Most Plfueger rods are excellent. I've had a 6 foot Plfueger rod for a year now and it's good. They also make good reels, cause they basically eat saltwater.

Should have gone tokyo marui instead of classic army imo. MUCH more reliable. I know a dealer around here that wont even offer a warranty on classic army guns because of their failure rates. Hope you have good luck with yours

whoa, a grand? Isn't that a lot of money for a toy? Granted, it looks cool as hell and is probably a lot of fun, but is it really worth that much? Even anything over $300 seems steep to me.
