It never seemd to occur to you people, that Ed's just having fun. Seems to me thats what he's doing. Why should he care what you think? Better yet, why should you care what he says? He is only a person, sitting at his PC, posting on a forum. Is he putting your live at risk? Is he inducing famine into the world. No. Infact, he's being a good American. Standing up for his right to piss of who he wants, say what he wants, w/o having to worry if you like it. Is this not the sole of America today?
I personaly don't think your didactic arguments against his posting, and being 'mean' are cogent enough to get him to stop. Or better yet, worth the while to write. Ed seems to be a guy who is well-versed in the art of rhetoric. (That's RET-o-rik, not RE-tor-ik) While most of you on the other hand... you seem to have a certain lack of somthing. I just can't tell ya what it is tho, just can't place my finger on it!
So he is condescending, contemptuous, haughty, patronizing, (at least to you, I find him wily and humorus) Why do you care. Most of you seem to be superficial and tenuos yourselves. What he writes here is trival to the alignment of the planets, so kick your feet up and have beer. Enjoy yhe show and laugh your ass off. ed: (there's an idea!)
