I like team speak better. I have used Roger Wilco in the past and it seems to always be choppy. Team speak is always clear.

Roger Wilco use much less system resources than TeamSound/speak whatever it's called. 3% as opposed to 8%.

TS 2.0 is very clear and crisp, the best I've heard since any voice coms was released.

Roger Wilco shows they only use 3%, it's all distorted.

I didn't say which was better - I said which uses less sys res.

If that's an issue for you (which it is for me) then that would be a deciding factor.

TeamSound has lots of nice little features - but what do you really want to do? Speak to other people - both do the same thing. I'm willing to have telephone sound quality in order to save sys res.

Besides 8% usage for a program like that is ridiculous - that's the same as opening Microsoft Office Suite!!!!

I have a 1.2 gig Athlon with a POS 16 MB vid card. I usually get anywhere from 30-50 fps outdoors and 70-90 indoors. Should I get TeamSpeak or stay with RW?

On my system TeamSpeak uses 1.7MB of RAM. In contrast Trillian uses 4.7MB. If TeamSpeak is using 8% of your system resources then maybe getting more RAM will help.

TeamSpeak by far has better voice quality and better features.
Unless you're still on 56k TeamSpeak is better.

I agree with Sin. I used RW for qute awhile, and switched to TS recently for Jasper's server. It seems that TS is hella clearer, and dosen't distort/break in voice that much, sometimes not at all. I really prefer TS.
