Windows XP or Windows98 ?
the reason i ask is because im updating my computer so i need to know which one to git

I have xp and 98\me dual booted. Although i think my 40 gig quantum fireballs on its way out so rma time :/

i gotta gateway 400 or something like that it has win98 on it at the moment

Specs:

32mbs ATI Raedon G/FX card
we added a 128 memory stick to the computer ( if that does anygood)
and basically the rest is stock so

2.0 Ghz
512 RAM
GeForce4 64MB
60 Gig Hard Drive

I paid like $1500 for it.

if you can get it, buy XP Pro.............excellent OS, apart from updating drivers there has been no trouble since upgrading from 98 cool:

XP, just make sure you get 1) Professional, and 2) Update all of your drivers.
