well it does seem to me then that you feel natural disasters should be on the food chain. NATURAL DISASTERS ARE NOT CONSIDERED ALIVE. FORGET THE IDEA.

i dont see how his ideas are igrnorant? if you read what he posted youd see that hes not saying that disease and natrual disaster are creatures, but that they may threaten our ability to sustain life. i think he was suggesting that disease and disaster could be considered to be in a place "above us on the food chain".

but judas, you'd see that in order for anything on the chain to exist, it has to be alive. So what's the point in doing philosophy if you know it doesn't meet all of the criteria?

i was hoping that we could all contribute to the second list more than anything. It has to atleast be considered

its retarded logic or Overthinking something

Think of all the "things" that could go above us.

Walked in front of bus, bag over head while jacking off, earthquake, a bullett to the head there is no way to create a "chain" from that. its not like a double cheeseburger eats a blazing wildfire.

But when i think of the second chain, it does has to do more with the path of death more than anything. If i wouldn't have placed "food chain" in the title, i think you guys would be a little more openminded about the topic at hand. Thanks to all who are though.

It wouldn't be a chain so much as a list of the top things that kill humanity.
