i own a black 1gb nano..
I love it but i wish it had more space. Battery life is decent and its a little hard to see the card numbers/colors if you play solitaire on it happy:

Use my black 4GB all of the time. I have 988 tunes on it right now. I can plug it into my gf's stereo through rca jacks. I also use it in my car with an fm radio transmitter.
Also good for audio books. You can upload pics to it too, although that seems pointless to me.
The 1GB is on the small side. Also the black scratches easily so I bought a cool looking black aluminum case for it.
All in all I'm very happy with it.

Do apple not replace them for that? Id assume that would be classed as a defect so they should replace or repair it.

Well if its a faulty battery i dunno why he wouldn't be able to bring it back and tell the store assistant to sodomise himself with it while handing him a replacement. spank:

Kinda like what i had to do with my 360, had to bring it back to the store 3 times before they seen the fault and i got a new one same hard drive though). Gimpy dvd drive ftw. plzdie:
Thing i hate is with an intermitent fault they more or less try and make out like you're lying, i bought it that saturday, brought it back on monday wanting a replacement and got the spanish inquisition. oOo: I could understand if i wanted a refund but wtf did i have to gain from a replacement console? eek:
