So any comments on the front page\site\forums? -
04-08-2007, 06:50 AM
Was just wondering if anyone takes a peek at the front page from time to time, now that we have one.
Any suggestions? Still tweaking the backend and trying to fix some little things.
Also just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive (barely) and working hard to get more site exposure.
Next on the list is to clean up some of the forum sections, more of a consolidation I guess.
Again don't hesitate to send me a PM, Email or post with your comments.

Looking good, looking good.
I like your Wii controller for Vanguard.
Do you know if Medal of Honor Airborne is going to ship with the editor in the box?
Also, still waiting for that review on the CoD PSP title.

I think you should get the frontpage a new template, the news and everything else you have done is amazing, but the frontpage isnt easy on the eyes. When AA became GF1, badscript had some of the users here crank out some templates and chose from them and there was some really good ones produced, maybe you should do the same?

Im under the impression most dont bother with the front page, we're too used to going straight to the forums.
And is it just me or do the forums seem pretty dead since the site went offline for a bit? cry:

the search engine is pretty poor. Whenever you searched for posts by a user, and clicked on the second page, the search function would say "No topics or posts met your search criteria". Sometimes, you can get around this by putting "&start=15" on the URL. But lately, the search engine URL comes up as "results" and the workaround no longer works. This problem happened before GF1 went down, but it has gotten worse lately.

Sorry sparks, forgot to answer your Qs
- thanks
- There was talk about that but I will check (should be as it's based on the UT3 engine)
- working on that, work has been kicking my ass and there is no real way to post screen shots of a PSP . I had to upgraded my PSP from 1.5 to 2.8 to install the game but was on a plane and did not have any other options.
FYI 1.5 let you run home brew applications on a PSP (IE screen capture) but most new games require you to upgrade the firmware).
