He[Akon] deserved it. Who care about some singer ranting on during a concert, it's a concert... you're paid to sing, not tell us your views.

If I was the kid, I'd get up... takes the cameras of the people around me who weren't humane enough to catch me and throw the cameras at Akon's face... and at fans too. That was just dumb, everyone's shouting at some kid taking a possibly fatal fall.

I did some more googling and the kid broke his arm, but isn't pressing charges.

Akon's publicist is covering it up saying Akon tried to start a crowd surf. Last time I checked, people usually jump themselves into crowds rather than forcefully being thrown in an arbitrary manner into a crowd.
