Anyone else pick up a copy? Seems weird being able to play this game and not have a headache using analogue sticks, also seems a lot easier to navigate around the place and not get lost for some reason, even with the copy paste copy paste level design.

Also nice to be able to play at 1920x1200 with 16x aa and still get about 50fps biggrin:

Weird this game actually adds to your 360 acheivements score, have to sign in with your 360 account, it dloads your profile and it adds to it, even shows you as "online halo 2 pc" in the 360 dashboard.

Can't say im too impresed with the multi yet, slayer seems to be standard clusterfuck (luckfest) deathmatch, gee how innovative. oOo:

I think they are slowly integrating PC and 360's to play online together.

Yup, you need a live account to play it online as well, shadowrun can have 360 and pc players playing against each other.

you have to have an xbox account to play halo2 online on PC? wow, way to go MS. unreal. not like i care, if I get this game it won't be for a while and i wouldn't touch MP but that just seems unbelievably stupid to me.

Multi feels kinda weird on the pc, its like you should be moving faster, but aren't. Hard to explain, sometimes i spawned and it was like i had to gain momentum to move fast, other times i seemed to be moving pretty slow and again other times i seemed to be moving a bit faster. eek:

Only played on one server so latency may have been an issue, might give it one more try later before the multi portion is shitcanned forever, i really don't see wtf the big fuss xbox owners made over the multi, its bog standard and boring to say the least.

yeah it really wasn't that great compared to PC titles, but it was some of the best multi console gamers had seen at the time

I mean its not that big of a deal, if you have a 360 than you have a gold membership. I think its a good idea. 49 dollars for 13 months is not bad

i don't have a 360, but if i wanted to play halo mp and it told me to fuck off and buy a 360, i'd be pissed.

Dont have to buy a 360, you can create an account without one, you also get a 2 month gold trial with it so you can play it online for 2 months.
