Hey. I run 2000 right now and I wanna goto XP, but should I goto Home or Professional? or stay at 2000?

XP Pro is doing me fine. Not many problems with it at all. Had the occasional format and reinstall, but that should be done on a regular basis anyway. Other than a few niggling bugs it works perfectly fine.

They are both the same with the exception of Pro letting you at more of the networking stuff. You can still do everything via home version they just dumb it down even more.

I run XP pro and love it. Like BW said. you should give your computer a good enema every once in a while. Especially if you install a lot of sharware with it's crappy spyware.
