I think the game is a blast. Granted it is a heckuva lot more fun when you are playing it with a group of guys that you know. I prefer any game that has an objective over a game that just has you running around shooting folks. When you play it using TS or the ingame voice chat and you are coordinating your attack, or defense, this game is better than any other game that I have played. And, I love the realism of this game.

Do you play in a clan? I'm in a clan, if you want to hop on our Vent sometime I'll PM you the info. You're right, the game is awesome when you're playing with 10-15 other guys you know. The game achieves a level of satisfaction in victory that few other games can accomplish. Some battles become brief stalemates, and it's highly satisfying to be able to push through the line and cap the next cap zone. The same people who don't like RO are the same people who think WWII Online is a piece of crap, and that's far from the truth.

All of the guys in OTD are either still playing Spearhead, or are playing BF2142. We're hoping that Airborne gets everybody playing a common game again.
Let me know the IP of the server y'all play on. I'll check it out.

i woulda thought it a good game around the time of early cs source times but RO looks very aged and from memories of playing it in some trench like maps it was very retarded

There's nothing wrong with not liking the game, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. RO actually took a chance to try something different in gameplay, and I'd say it's been a pretty good success considering player numbers can reach close to 10,000 at times (compare that with DODS which maxes out at around 6-7,000).
There is one trench map in particular that does pretty much suck. I don't like trench warfare all that much unless there is a wide open field between two trenches. I just like how tank battles carry out (and most agree that tanks are the weakest aspect of RO) when combined with infantry. There is one map in particular where a tank can absolutely destroy infantry, and really forces the other team to think about what they're doing. Most games don't really make you have to think much, but you really have no choice when the other team's tank commander has racked up close to 100 infantry kills without dying once (a feat I achieved one time and it's truly awesome to fire an HE round into a huge group and see 10 guys and their respective body parts flying all over the place).
You don't have to like RO, but you should appreciate some of the features that are in RO that some other big time games are starting to use. Other games have had an even bigger impact on FPS gaming. Infiltration is a mod that was released in 1999 for Unreal Tournament, and it still stands as THE best representation of modern day tactical infantry combat. It was at least 7 years ahead of its time, and probably still is.

My cables are as well as can be done with the case in mind, ive FOUR pci express cables to connect up. I also can't be arsed with cutting holes in cases like other people do, waste of time for something thats not gonna be seen at all. happy:
Not alot of places in ths case to hide cables either, any pics that have them well hidden normally is very modded with a shitload of holes cut to route cables through.
