Might have seen Schill's last start as a Red Sox...Papelbon throwing out Holliday at 1st was down right divine comedy. I wonder if that was Tek who made that call. Loved Lugo trying to bunt himself onbase! Still plenty of ball left to play but I think winners of the first 2 have always gone on to win.

As a Sox fan it's really not even that exciting knowing the Sox are gonna win it because the Pats are going undefeated through the Superbowl and the Celtics are gonna take the Championship so there's other things to pay attention to. Bruins look playoff worthy aswell. BC is rank 2 in college football too. Damn it feels good to be a sports fan.

I recall them winning like 3 years ago.

Don't get to excited, the only sports Mass. really owns is Football and baseball. Forget Hockey and Basketball.

I would love to be living in an age where a region/city gets quad championships (NBA MLB NFL NHL) but I don't think it will happen. Would be an amazing thing to see though. It was close back in 85-86. Just like I'd like to see a subway series. Just to see it.

4 hours and 19 mins game 3 of the World Series. Longest World Series game ever. Rockies fought their asses off but in the end the rookies bailed Boston out as they have been since the Indians/Red Sox 3-1 in the playoffs until present. Just goes to show that not every championship has to be built off of big cubans steroids or experience.

why would it be

a. detroit can pay him
b. detroit has already shown his agent scott boras they will pay...(pudge and mags are both boras clients)
c. they need a SS since gullien is going to 1st and a-rod yearns to play short again.
