Why would you choose the way it looks over accesability. I don't really care how it looks, I care how fast and easy it is for the 3 people that use this computer. Shortcuts maximize the efficiency of the programs you have.
[quote:ba77c]Are you telling me you use ALL
those progs in a single sitdown with the comp??[/quote:ba77c]
Of course not. But I do use them all at one point or another.
[quote:ba77c]Why not customize your "Start Menu"?
I place all my shortcuts in seperate custom folders on the start menu for fast and easy access. The progs i constantly use go to my task bar. I only
have 6 progs on my taskbar.[/quote:ba77c]
Whats the difference between this and the desktop? I don't think it really matters. I ahve 5 programs on my taskbar. So what?
[quote:ba77c]Another thing......you think with all that desktop clutter you're losing
system resources? I think so......and the comp boots slower with all
that shit.[/quote:ba77c]
Uhh...no. Regardless or whether there is a shortcut or not, the program is still installed on the computer. Boot up time is no problem for me. I still use Win98 which uses a lot less resources than XP so I think i'm doing ok.
