Ok guys ,

My last post on this tread....

The Confederate flag is nothing like the swastika. The southerners did not gather slaves by the millions and slaughter them. They in no way faught to gain lands or conquer the world.

The Confederate states faught for their rights against oppression. They lost , but they also won because of the unity developed after the civil war.

I am in no way offended by the flag , simply because it has its meaning to me and my familly. I dont think it should be banned.

Its like this , Im native American on my mothers side. I am not offended by Thanksgiving.

I dont think people should get so upset when the confederate flag is flown.
I dont think people should be upset about the names of componates of a computer , ect , ect.

To some the flag represents evil , To others it represents Honor.
Each to there own opinion , I have stated mine.

One last thing. I hold no ill will to those who do not agree with me , we all have our reasons for our views. I only ask that we are adult enought to respect each others opinions and not start a stupid flame war that shadows our discussion with inmaturity.

I can understand your view points. I can see the relevance of the comparison between the flag and swastika. Though I do not agree , I still see your point.
