However, I find the economy, education, and foreign affairs much more important than the issue of gay marriage.

I will say this, though. I think there is a different motive behind the push for gay marriage than just the need to be recognized by the state as a couple. Financial benefits and groups such as GLAAD imposing their beliefs on the system are factors behind the push for gay marriage. The problem is, if you open up marriage for one interest group, you have to open it up for all. That means if I want to marry some triplets, or whatever else, then by God I have the right to do so under fair and equal treatment.

Implementing gay marriage will have consequences down the road. It's bad enough that we already have freak show towns such as San Francisco and New Orleans having gay parades, which are city operations, meaning they are funded by the people's tax money of all things. The parades, which involve naked people running around on the streets and having butt sex at times can't be healthy for America, and that's what I'm worried about. As long as they leave me alone, then I don't have a major problem with it, but since that won't happen, and the gay community will continue to shove their lifestyle down our throats, I do have a problem with it.
