Tried it. There are no scratches. The disc isn't as shiny and clean as a brand new disc. After all, I've had it for a while, but it's clean enough. I've had dirtier-looking discs work before. That doesn't seem to be the problem. But setup still won't start.

By the way, the file size of setup.exe is 55 KB. Can anyone check their discs and tell me if that's the correct size? Otherwise it's probably corrupt. In that case, can someone give me the file?

I can't return it after all this time and I'd hate to buy the whole game again.
