Question about Wisdom Teeth Removal -

Alright, on July 5th, I will be getting all four of my wisdom teeth removed, Ive chosen not to be put to sleep and just have luaghing gas and alot of freezing.
My question is, Should I be put to sleep instead for this procedure? here is my problem though, My dads dental insurance only covers 80%, and the being put to sleep will cost $500 and having my Wisdom teeth removed will cost $1006 or somehing, but after I do the 80% of coverage, im left with:
Wisdom Teeth Removal - $1006 = $260
Put to Sleep - $500 = 400
Total of what I have to pay = $660 - Right out of MY pocket, and I have to pay That day, but of coarse, I will be reinburst on being put to Sleep, so I will get my $400 back, but Im not sure when. So Im wondering, is it worth all that money?, or should I not be put to sleep and endure all the needles and one hour+ of pressure on my jaw?
