this could be a possibility ... i read somewhere that the OSS were actually talking about the assasination atempts with the Reich generals [/quote:9f442] Actually, I believe that the Allies didn't want him dead since he controlled the army and most of the time he didn't know what he was doing, so he made big mistakes that helped the Allies.
