Default Monitor/Video question - 06-04-2005, 02:52 PM

Ok, so I went digging thru some OLD shit and found an old Hewlett Packard Pavilion PC with Pentium III 731 MHz, 384 MB ram, its aiight, it will run MOHAA on 640x480 and get roughly 50-60 fps, >_< lol...the Video Card is Geforce MX440 128 MB running Windows XP. So here is my problem...I remember a LONG time ago whe I had the computer running, the video was soo damn dark, i mean I cant see SHIT on the montior...I am typing RIGHT NOW with this POS rig. I cleaned it up...looked through the settings n such and put a new monitor....the bitch is STILL dark as ass and I dunno WTF to do about it. I know when I FIRST got it...this was not an issue. Was wondering if there is anything I can do about it now though. Also, this is like a lil toy...I mean I can do ANYTHING with it...its such a POS tho. SOO, anyone got any fun ideas on what to do with this BEAST . For shits n grins I put a green Cold Cathode...looks pretty tight. Got plenty of time...and dont care if I break the damn thing. I was thinking...hrm...lets see the overclockability of this baby! lol...before I burn the chip...anyone got better ideas?

Peace rock:
