I have been in that situation 3 times. I wish I could have carried at that time. (stabbed twice shot once) Michigan has changed there CCW laws, now it is called a "shall issue" permits which means if you have a clear record you get a permit. Since that law has changes a couple hundred thousand more Michigan residents now are able to carry a weapon.
Since this started guess how many crimes has been commited by a CCW permit carring person??????????

not one CCW permit carring person has been commited of a gun related crime. All of the gun crimes are commited by the people that dont obey the laws (go figure?)
