California	02-12-2003, 01:42 AM In addition the reason lugers went off unpredictably had nada to do with safetys or triggers. The toggle action of it would make downward pressure on the top of the pistol drive the action forward, a sharp enough blow to the top and it went off. Out of adjustment? Debris? It could go off very easily since there was nothing that prevented outside forces from acting on the action.
