The 24 Pakistani UN Peacekeepers were killed by Aidid Militia, Washington declares war on Aidid without confering with the Military leaders over in Somalia, A ransom is put on Aidid, So now the US who were originally there as a neutral peacekeeping force, are then 'forced' to go after Aidid, so then Somalians get pissed and think "All along, they just wanted to fuck us over... they were just waiting for a good chance."
It's a real shame, we were actually doing a bangup job over there
