Edit: Don't get me wrong, I'm not denying that cheaters are rampant (They are, I see at least one player every day who consistently falls for the "fake-peek" trick) and I'm not having a go at the original poster of this thread.

You're right to come here and ask for advice (well, kind of, anyway - Probably better places to ask for advice on the net but that's besides the point biggrin: ).

It's just that I feel a lot of people don't know enough to accuse so many people of cheating.

After-all I get accused every day (almost) of using a skin hack by players who admit to using one themselves, when I do not!

I do use a skinhack against obvious cheaters just to show them that cheating doesn't make you a good player (and this is one of the best ways to remove a cheater from a server when there's no admin - rape them at their own game and they'll soon get bored of it and bugger off).

But that's because I don't give a shit about the game anymore and I find it fun to piss them off.

I never, ever use one against genuine players (and I find that there are more of them than cheaters, in my opinion, even on un-admined publics).
