Why does that man have pancakes on his head? Good question, but I don't expect you to understand the answer. Flagg had posted the "pancake bunny" picture; I thought it was funny, and began to use an emoticon version of it in my posts.

In one week, a student of mine (I'm an English teacher) died suddenly, and a dear friend lost a long running battle with cancer. Basically, I had to attend two funerals in less than four days. Snork took that picture and sent it to me in an attempt to bring a smile to my face when I *really* needed it. It worked, and I encouraged him to post it in our forum.
