In all of the screen-shots that i've seen with an MG42 (granted, not many) the MG42's are on the standard Bipod. Will you have the 'fixed' MG's o lafette mounts?
For those of not in the know:
As you can see in the photo, when in a stationary position (Bunker, pillbox, trench, foxhole, etc) the MG (all from the MG13 to the MG42) would be placed on a heavy tripod called a lafette mount. this effectively transformed the MG from a 'light' machine gun into a 'heavy' machine gun. it allowed the MG crew to sight-in the entire field of fire, through angles, distance, etc, so they could accurately pinpoint an enemy in just about any location.
Any way, I'd love to see a german team using one of these as this would be the method that you'd be facing in a majority of the levels dealing with taking fixed objectives.
