But they are still "heroes" - albeit not in the traditional sense. MacBeth does NOTHING heroic.
Youre taking the definition far to plainly and literally. . .if this were the case EVERY villain would be an "anti-hero". . .[/quote:6ef49]
Was he not "somewhat good" at the start of the play, I am quite sure he was fighting on the good guys side while the 3 witches watched the battle in the opening of the play. Not to mention you see signs of remorse from him threwout the play, until evil consumes him. but, meh what ever.
