Details, Wednesday 2:30pm, I was wasting time in between service calls, so I stopped in at a local gun shop called "The Gun Shop" in Olathe KS. (It would take too long to drive to "The Bullet Hole" in Overland Park KS) The short pump 12 gauge (quail gun) are the first I look at. Both the new Norincos are there, but also a Remington, an EXACT copy. The Remington is a used gun, and $25.00 more than the new Norincos. I ask Don (behind the counter) if he has checked out the Norincos to have an opinion on them, and he says "We sold 3 of them so far." I walked over to the pistol case when in walked in a tall man and slightly shorter woman. They joined me at the pistol display case and immediately inquired about a GLOCK pistol for the lady. The salesman Bob showed them the selection of new and used GLOCK pistols and began to pull GLOCKs out of the case (checking the breech each time) until the couple asked about the use of a safety. I asked to look at a CZ-75 and an E.A.A. Witness while Bob explained about the trigger on the GLOCKs, which seemed to alarm the woman. Then Bob suggested they look at pistols that had safeties. I asked Bob If I could acquire a new Norinco P-35 (Browning Hi-Power) and Bob said [url=http://www.marstar.ca/Norinco/pistols.htm:8c0ad]these[/url:8c0ad] pistols were currently banned from importation to the United States. Some pistols did make it into the States before the ban, and could (when available) be had. Bob turned toward the couple while I looked at my phone for the time and then I turned to the door, because I had to get to ACE Hardware at 3:30 to meet with them about the phone line that keeps cutting of in the middle of every important call, but never when I fucking am testing it. I think it was better vaguer.
