Back then to us 2d graphics looked really good because proper 3d games had yet to appear. 2d was good but very limited in what you could do with it.

^ I second that. I can't see at all how games are getting worse.

It's easier to entertain someone if all they know is a few bleeping dots on a screen. Nowadays there is far more to a game, so that means there are more things to "get right." Having said that, I can't go back to those older games because they're not up to the standard of what the good games that come out today are of.

That's where Pyro is alot different to most of us. It seems he can play bleeping dot games and be fufilled.
