I really don't like scary/horror movies, but this wasnt bad at all. There is more gore in a war movie (SPR, BoB) I think. The worst that happened in this movie is a guy got shot in the head and you saw the hole for a second. I never saw the first one so i dunno if it is more gory/scarier. Go see it even if you dont like scary movies.
