I've done a couple projects involving group work, fortunately both projects I was placed in a group with my good hardworking friend, but on both cases our other 2 partners were slackers that didnt care about anything. We just ended up splitting the group work between the two of us and reporting the slackers, to make sure they didnt get a piece of the grade/credit. Must admit on both projects we got a distinction biggrin:

might defeat the purpose, but at least it ensures you get the grade you deserve.

Hard to do if your group mates dont even bother to turn up to class. Besides I wouldnt want someone to get the grade I got for me doing all the work whilst their making coffee.
