I will turn it off at night when I go to bed, know that I'm going out for a couple hours and while I'm at work, But leave it on usually throughout the day if I'm home. I know there is a age old debate on what is better for your PC. I turn mine off when I'm not around it so something like a fan outtage, etc doesn't occur when I'm not home/sleeping.
