I was wondering today if the whole number thing comes back to the medicine. Maybe all the original dudes died and as a last gasp they sent out the radio signal with the serial number of the vaccine that seemed to work. Whacko dude in Australia hears it and uses it as a lotto number, then Hurley gets it from the guy that goes looney, etc. But it all stems from teh serial number of the vaccine.....hmm.....
