Cats dont smell. Dogs usually have some kind of aroma to them. Cats tend to be cleaner, too.

Also, if you get a cat with great personality, like mine, then its a really special thing. My is a real slut, it loves men who visit, but really hates chicks. LIke to the point of being scary.

She waits by the door when we're gone. When we come home, she just follows one of us around and purrs. A great cat.
