first of all i word like to say that some virus scans blok punkbuster.

I myself run vista on a new computer, after installing a virus scanner, i had trouable in game.
after 2 min, punkbuster would kick me for no "PnKbsR B" no conectsion port.
Norton IS works, Panda don't.
AVG works, norton360 don't.
It seems that it has something to do with the phishing program what they use.

symatic and karptov have made a hotfix for this probleem.
