How is it done? What program so you use to edit *.dds files, so that my skins show up with texture compression on?

You could also use Paint Shop Pro (which in my opinion is better than PhotoShop). You will still need the DDS plugin though. Get Paint Shop Pro 7 at http://www.JASC.com or Adobe Photoshop at http://www.ADOBE.com. Then once those are downloaded search for serial numbers on the internet, or just buy the full version.

I have the full versions of both of those, downloaded from Kazaa. Where could I get the plug-in, though?

Fram, just so you know, the .dds file is still available at Nvidia!

For everone who needs the plugin just click on the link:
http://developer.nvidia.com/docs/IO/1176/ATT/dds.8bi

Enjoy!

NOTE: MAYBE we should get BS or Dodd do add the plugin to the MOD section here at AA.com IF it isn't already there!!

I put that file in my plugins folder (for both PSP7 and Photoshop), but I can't save as .dds...
