Yeah it sucks that they stopped, I was really looking forward to it.

I had read somtime ago that this game was still being developed but not with the MoH label. It's not quite a flight sim, it's more of an arcade flight game, kind of like what Ace Combat is. I read this in EGM a few months back. The reason they dropped the MoH label is that the producers and developers of the MoH series wanted it to stay a FPS and not branch off to other types of games. But if the rumors are true then we could see a WWII arcade flight sim some time next year.
