Damn, I guess you can look around all over the place and not see anything in front of you, eh guys?

There's an issue with the installer from EA that directly conflicts with rundll32 as posted earlier in this thread. Follow those directions to get rid of it. If you're having a problem freezing when you try to do this (I'm assuming because you're running 98 or ME), then try restarting into safe mode and then emptying the background apps from memory. This should give you a shot at installing.

Also, before you complain about the next problem which has been answered and because I'm bored enough to type it for the 20th time since I got my copy of SH, empty out all of your custom .pk3s before trying to play SP. Blood mods will cause graphical glitches. There are also some pk3's that cause the SP to crash back to the main screen. However, there aren't any issues with any pk3's in MP that have been reported yet.

Oh yeah, guys, learn to have some patience. To be quite honest, it took me 6 hours from the time I got home with my copy to play SP for the first time. And that was after 3 calls to tech support at EA (support peeps are nice enough...).
