EA Games needs to be FLAMED for putting out a misleading demo. This final version is missing not only maps but also weapons that were a lot of fun in the spearhead demo.

Why even include the maps and weapons in the demo if they dont plan on including them in the full version?

I ran out and purchased the game immediately thinking it was gonna be like the demo with more stuff.

Don't get me wrong. I like the game. But it is in bad taste that EA releases a demo as a teaser. And then doesnt include the goodies "in the demo" into the full version.

The only thing the demo had that the final did not have was the German grenade launcher.

They told you the map was a demo exclusive.

Don't get me wrong. I wish that weapon was in the final. I have a feeling someone will port it over soon enough.

I agree I mean WTF the demo rocks ass....I was confused when I layed the spearhead multiplayer for the first time.... eatthis:

Joe, put some kind of safety fuse on that thing if it's possible.
I'm pretty sure that most people here hate it when someone fires it 2 feet away and they both die.
that weapon is supposed to be indirect fire, like a mortar, not a belt of suicide explosive. (maybe too many palestinians have the demo)

I dunno bout that. My goal is to just have it replace the shotty for Axis, like it did in the demo. If anything, I might just give it to both Axis & Allies. Gotta wait till tonight, though.

Before potentially wasting your time, I heard that the gewehrgranate didn't make it into the retail version by their deadline, but they are going to include it in an upcoming patch. I didn't read this first-hand, but heard it for some clan-mates who said they did. Regardless, I'd look into getting the official word from EA as to why the weapon is gone and confirmation on whether or not it's gonna be patched in.

Personally, I wasn't too upset about the weapon being gone. It's not a very well balanced weapon as the Allies don't have anything that can match it.

Yah, I've read the same. The way rumors spread about this game, most of them had come true. But, I want it schnell!!!! heh

actually i don't think it would and here's my logic.

Any one here remember Crow King's Portable MG mod. Well, if you joined his server with the MG mod, you had to have it to view the mg model. If my theory is right....if you enter a server with the modded grenade gun and you don't have the mod on your comp, all you will see is a shottgun that shoots grenades and rifle shells. This is just my theory, i could work however if the grenade launcher model and stuff is already in the SH PAKs and Bazooka Joe does a super job biggrin:

Well if you have read the posts here and on the speahead site, They told you they would not be included. So you weren't mislead. You just didn't reserach before you bought. everybody keeps grippin about the game and it just came out. First try to get use to it brfore you FLAME everything. Anybody who has been in gaming as long as I have will tell you that 98% of games that are released are full of Glitches, bad maps, etc. No one held a gun to your head telling you to buy it. First everybody hated the Demo after it had been out for about 10 hours. Now everybody hates the expansion after its only been out for 24 hours. If you think you can do better, start your own software company. Patches will come out to fix problems, but the game just got released. I couldn't load it on my computer until I read the post of the CD Code problems. I followed the directions and got it up and running. I think so far it's not a bad exspansion. It sure is faster paced the MOHAA. I must confess I haven't tried MP yet but I am looking forward to it. Well that's my two cents worth. swordfight:
