Default Getting verrrrry tired of this prob. . . - 11-18-2002, 12:39 AM

Greetings all..Heres my issue and any help would be much welcomed..
O.k. whenever I play multiplayer MOHAA after about 20-40 minutes my game crashes..my monitor shuts down but my comp still runs and i assume that the game is still in session.
I have tried numerous things to remedy this issue==reinstalled game,downloaded new 1.1/different patch, checked out screensaver/power options,firewall/virus protector,ect.. ..
Anyway the game still seems to crash out on multiplayer..I've contacted EA,asked around here and there but basically beginning ta feel completely ata loss as to what ta do..??HMMM??
My computer is a 2G Dell,Nvidia4600TI,lotsa RaM,,ect..basically great fast computer..I can play Battlefields online with settings completely tweaked,Unreal2003,Morrowind....with absolutely no problems.
Anywayz any advice would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanx..

The usually Honorable Hokusai;O) fire2: fire2: fire2:

It could be a number of things........Check your video settings, your backround running programs (close the ones you dont need) by hitting ctrl alt del, make sure your cooling fan is working properly so you dont over heat. Or the other thing, your comp maynot be compatible with it. What OS are you running?

How new is the monitor? My buddy had the same problem where the comp decided to shut off the screen. This was a compatibilty issue which was resloved by a new one sent to him. I wish you good luck in finding the outcome.

I just had a idea, what watt is your power supply? I had to get a 400 watt tower just to run all my stuff......

i had a crash thingy in mohaa before too.

Tried everything, nothing worked until i removed all the mods. One of the mods was screwing up mohaa. Now it works great.

Try it if nothing else works.

Running a refresh rate too high may and will damage your monitor. My monitor being 22" is ran on 240 HZ
