Default mod idea... - 11-19-2002, 10:05 PM

here's an idea I came up with while sitting on the crapper (well not really, but everyone says great inventions occur on the crapper)

Is this implementable?

the base damage/speed system for the mod is CKR 1.1 or similar
the base unit is the 5 man fireteam. When there are between 1 and 5 people 1 MG OR 1 sniper, AND 1 SMG, AND 3 rifles are open. when between 6 and 10 people join another MG/snipe, and another SMG are opened.
for every ten people on a team 1 bazooka and one shotgun/n00b stick opens.

(maybe if your team is using bolt action rifles you can choose 2 SMG per 5 men instead, but that would be harder to detect)

you select which weapon you would PREFER like in America's Army and the computer does the best job it can rotating guns when more than one person selects a heavy slot (heavy=non-rifle).

also maybe on objective matches each side spawns with a portable MG-42 which you can choose to take with you or ignore.

this mod would try to cut down on the "whored" weapons and try to make people use teamwork and strategy instead of grabbing an MG and charging in like a bunch of madmen.

what do you guys think?
is it programmable?
